Graduate program

Our graduate development program provides an opportunity to gain experience in the energy sector in a policy-oriented and strategic environment. As one of our graduates you will benefit from a two year program working on projects which are developing the energy market in innovative ways. You will have a personalised development plan that includes on-the-job learning, mentoring, peer support, training sessions and seminars. All designed to support you in your career at the AEMC and contributing to your future success.

We are looking for graduates who have completed their undergraduate degrees by the time our program commences. Areas of study we are interested in include – however are not limited to:

Public policy - Law - Engineering - Science - Economics

As a Lawyer at the Australian Energy Market Commission, you will provide legal advice that enables the Commission to perform its key functions as energy rule maker and market developer.
