Graduate programOur graduate development program provides an opportunity to gain experience in the energy sector in a policy-oriented and strategic environment. As one of our graduates you will benefit from a two year program working on projects which are developing the energy market in innovative ways. You will have a personalised development plan that includes on-the-job learning, mentoring, peer support, training sessions and seminars. All designed to support you in your career at the AEMC and contributing to your future success.

We are looking for graduates who have completed their undergraduate degrees by the time our program commences. Areas of study we are interested in include – however are not limited to:
Public policy - Law - Engineering - Science - Economics
Our formal graduate application period is up to the end of August, however we accept applications at any time. Our selection process takes place in September and successful graduate employees start with us in early February.

Declan is a Graduate Adviser in Market Development. He’s enthusiastic about the opportunity afforded to him to see the processes, frameworks and practicalities of problem solving, which build on the theoretical knowledge he acquired at university.
